Mr. Ramli ever stated that “Watching western movie is more effective than the other ways to improve our speaking skill”. According to him, it’s one of enjoyable learning way beside of playing game because students not only study but also they can get a little entertainment. Watching western movie is the most important way to improve students’ speaking skill.

Watching western movie offers useful things to improve students’ speaking skill. Beside of it is spoken by native speaker, students also can improve their vocabulary. Usually film exposes lots of new words and idioms that students never get before in their classroom. For example: the words and idioms never spoken by the lecturer, they can get in the movie. Like: Selfie, jackass, what a foxy mama, baby blue, I am sick and tired, etc. They also have a chance to improve their pronunciation. Since the native speaker makes a conversation or pronounces the word, students immediately can pronounce the word also.

In conclusion, watching western movie really helps students to improve their speaking skill. It makes their vocabulary increase and their pronunciation improve.
