ESSAY
Mrs. Najemariah in her teaching time said that “The best way to improve
our speaking potential is practice, practice, and practice”. According to her,
practice makes students’ speaking potential develops day by day. In the other
hand, there are two important ways that students can do in improving it. Like:
Watching west movie and Joining English club discussion.
Watching west movie offers usefull things in improving students’
speaking potential. As proof, it can increase students’ vocabulary. When they
watch west movie, immediately they will find new vocabularies and common
expressions that they never get before. Morever, watching west movie also helps
students in hearing the real pronunciation from the native speaker, so students
can say the words after the native speaker. And exactly, it can improve
students’ potential in catching the conversation. And the most interesting, watching
movie is not boring way to learn English more.
Joining English club discussion also helps them in developing their speaking
potential. For instance, it improves students’ self-confidence, so they can be
easier to interact with others and always ready to face challanges without any
doubt. Additionally, they must find many friends there who serious to learn
English, so they will be easier to speak anywhen they want. Morever Adab and
humanities faculty provides famous club meetings there, such as : English Mania Meeting
Club (EM2C) and English Club of UIN Sultan Alauddin (ECUINSA).
Thus, there are 2 most important ways in improving student’s speaking
potential. They are: Watching west movie which helps them in increasing
vocabuary and better pronunciation. And Joining English club discussion which is
usefull in improving their self-convidence.

I like Mondays
because it’s my favorite day and so full of useful activities. Usually, I start
my day at 05.00 am, I wake up and then I do subuh pray. In the morning, I am so
enthusiastic because I always go to my senior high school to teach my junior in
one of organization there. In addition, I am also so interested to go to campus
in every Monday because I always look fresh. It’s also because I study English
structure lesson. It’s one of my favorite lesson. In the night, I go to my
friends’ house. I am so happy there because I always have fun and share each
other with them. After that, I go to the basecamp of my club meeting. There I
always study and share experience with my senior. That’s why I do like Mondays.
